Awkwafina the American singer and actress started with funny raps, which dealt with sexuality and racial identification. After which she moved to Hollywood her music, she came out with several rap tracks. Nora Lum was born to Chinese Korean immigrants living in Forest Hills Queens. Her first encounter with music was from playing the trumpet. Her classical, jazz and hip-hop lessons began when she grew up. While at school, she majored in journalism and women's studies at college, even studying Mandarin in Beijing for a short time. However, it wasn't until she graduated when she decided to turn her attention towards music. Her track My Vag, a response song to Mickey Avalon's My Dick gained viral popularity across the Internet in the year 2012. It eventually made it in her album Yellow Ranger released in 2014. Other hits on the internet that were viral include queef track and the equally winking NYC Bitchehome tour, which cost $. It was also included in Awkwafina's NYC travel guide, published in 2015. After establishing herself as a musician, and author, she took on acting roles. Apart from early series such as Girl Code and Tawk she has also appeared in films such as Neighbors 2, Storks as well as Bad Rap. In 2018, she landed several breakthrough roles, such as Dude Ocean's 8 or Crazy Rich Asians. She released the EP,"At Fina We Trust in June of the same year.
